If you voluntarily provide such information (e.g., in booking notes or messages), you explicitly consent to its processing solely for the purpose of handling your request. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process personal data for the following purposes:
3.1 Provision of services — To operate the Platform, manage accounts, and facilitate bookings.

3.2 Communication — To respond to inquiries and provide support and notifications.

3.3 Booking and transaction processing — To connect users with garages and manage service requests.

3.4 Legal obligations — To comply with accounting, tax, and legal requirements.

3.5 Platform improvement, security, and analytics — To improve performance, security, and user experience, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interests include ensuring Platform security, improving services, and understanding user behaviour. You have the right to object to this processing at any time.
3.6 Marketing — To send promotional communications (only where legally permitted).
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers (Garages) to fulfil bookings
- Payment processors
- IT hosting and cloud providers
- Analytics providers (with safeguards)
- Legal authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal data.
5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions where applicable

6. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- Account data: while account is active
- Booking and transaction data: 7 years (Dutch tax law requirement)

- Analytics data: anonymised or up to 26 months
- Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn or 2 years after last interaction
After this, data is deleted or anonymised.
